Operations Lead – Northern Territory

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to fill the role of Operations Lead – Northern Territory (NT). We require an energetic, mature-minded, organised, and reliable person who enjoys teamwork and takes pride in their work.

The Role

This fulltime, hands-on role takes responsibility for operations of the NT office and provides daily office management, administrative and bids support to the Darwin team, along with general administrative and bids support to the Broome office. This role assists the Regional Director – NT in fulfilling his role and reasonability’s across the NT.

Your core responsibilities include:

Assisting the Regional Director – NT, in managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the office, the maintenance of culture and providing team leadership.
Providing team support, by maintaining strong communication and a collaborative working relationship with the Perth and Broome offices.
Coordinating, researching, writing and technical preparation of bid/tender submissions, expressions of interest and presentations to a high standard and to strict deadlines.
Project support for letters, meeting coordination, travel bookings, contract documents, reports etc.
Internal and external corporate event planning and execution.
General administrative tasks including the ongoing management of the firms leased apartment.

You will coach, support, and provide back up to our Corporate Services Officer for general administrative duties and responsibilities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be:

Able to take responsibility and be held accountable;
a strategic, innovative thinker with a flexible approach;
strong communication skills, verbal and written, with high attention to accuracy and detail;
intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
experienced in using Adobe InDesign (an advantage);
experienced with 3-5 years plus in office/administration management, bids or similar role;
experienced in the preparation of bids/tenders is preferred;
experience in financial management or working in a professional environment with charge out rates, time keeping/ recording and time management of projects, and
have a qualification in business, administration, project management or similar (preferred).
